About us
The story behind the Handprint
Celebrating the people who leave their mark.

The Jessica Project
The Jessica Project is a Berkshire-based organisation supporting people to heal, grow and thrive. Our handprint has always been at the heart of who we are: a symbol of reaching out, holding on, and the mark every one of us can leave on the world.
Why "The Handprint Awards"?
Every handprint is unique, and so is every person's impact. A handprint is what remains when someone has been there: a hand held in a hard moment, a hand raised to speak up, a hand that helped build something better. The people we celebrate have left exactly that kind of mark on their families, communities and on the country.
We believe that strength, courage and kindness deserve to be seen, celebrated and honoured, not just quietly admired. Too often the people doing the most extraordinary things never hear a thank you. That is why we created The Handprint Awards.
Strength
The resilience to keep going, and to lift others up along the way.
Courage
Speaking out, standing up and turning hardship into hope.
Kindness
The quiet acts of compassion that change someone's whole world.
